Official Flag Raising Hosted by the Veterans from American Legion Post 32

Dennis Sindelir, left, and John Schriver, both representatives from American Legion Post 32, raise the American flag Wednesday outside the new home of RE/MAX Traditions Inc., formerly RE/MAX of Longmont, at 2204 18th Ave. in the Hover Crossing commercial development. At 17,510 square feet, the new $3 million building nearly doubles the space of the company's former building at Hover Street and 17th Avenue.

According to Carol Cizek, a partner and co-owner of the bulding with Jim Plumb, 43 agents, along with administration staff and assistants, will work there. Cizek said the company's name change reflects the company's larger geographic coverage area, which now includes Boulder, Weld and Larimer counties, as well as other spots throughout the state.

RE/MAX's new building, which fronts 18th Avenue, a new street built through the development, was constructed by Jim Plumb. A Walgreen's, Carl's Jr. an Horizon Bank building are some of the other commercial tenants of the site, and there are also plans for residential development.
